This challenging role requires expertise in front sled, side sled and crash test planning. The capability to work in a highly-dynamic and fast-changing environment, strong communication skills and accountability are also requirements.
As the Passive Safety Performance Engineer you will support the Innovation team leading passive safety performance through engineering, data and video analysis, suggesting new ideas. You will also support vehicle development teams, leading passive safety activities, managing passive safety performance status and taking charge of the structural behavior of a vehicle through analysis.
What will make you successful:
Master-degree in Mechanical / Biomedical / Vehicle Engineering or equivalent.
Previous dedicated experience on development of full vehicle for EU and US market: front sled, side sled and crash test planning.
Basic knowledge of CAE technology for crash simulation and understanding homologation rules in the EU and US market are important to manage the activities.
Fluent English, and willing to learn Italian
