New career opportunity to join a prestigious car maker as a Trackside Performance Engineer and be embedded in a pinnacle-level racing program.
Your responsibilities as a Senior Vehicle Performance Engineer will include:
Lead pre-event and trackside car setup development, using analytical methods.
Lead in-race analysis and adjustment of key vehicle parameters.
Utilize predictive tools such as driver-in-loop and other simulation technologies.
Design experiments, analyze data, and report findings for simulation and real-world testing.
Your Profile:
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Masters Degree is preferred
Experience:
Strong technical knowledge of vehicle dynamics principles, and their practical application
Strong technical knowledge of racing car chassis systems: aerodynamics, suspension, tires, brakes
Trackside performance engineering in a pinnacle racing series (WEC, Formula E, IndyCar, LMDH
Configuration of configuration, operation, and validation of vehicle dynamics simulation software
Experience of analyzing time-series data using Pi Toolbox or McLaren ATLAS
Practical experience with racing car setup problems and methods
Familiar with test planning, execution, and data analysis using dynamics test rigs (shaker, damper dynamometer
Proficient in statistical analysis of experimental data
Must already be able to work in the US without any sponsorship
